As the election date approaches, Prime Minister Edi Rama has softened his stance on justice. In Shkodra, he gave SPAK and GJKKO unlimited support, forgetting the concerns about standards he had previously expressed, seemingly showing the prison door to those who abuse the trust given by citizens.
"We have a very clear line, whoever deviates from the path to the common goal and uses the power given to them by the people through the SP to do dishonest things behind our backs should go where they belong, it's very simple," Rama said.
While warning his own people, Altin told Duman how the opposition views SPAK's actions.
"They see SPAK as their only hope of achieving anything because otherwise they have no idea how to fight us at all. They see it as an ally to do opposition politics and this is normal, their job."
He tried to reach out to the people of Shkodran, seeking support later from socialists and democrats, as in the 2023 local elections.
"We need the support of the socialists and democrats of Shkodra. Shkodra is the most backward place in the Republic of Albania. We have changed, continuing to strongly support Shkodra, from major government projects to the Durrës-Pristina railway, which will specifically include Shkodra."
In past elections, there were many SP candidates who were hit by decriminalization, but today, when the Prime Minister sees such problems among his opponents, he laughs.
"It made me laugh when I saw that these young women had 17 characters that were affected by decriminalization. There is no question that there are no more charges to be filed because I know how it could happen, I had no knowledge, but they have taken to the streets and searched for people. Take the father, take the uncle, take the brother, then who will they catch and someone else to fill the list."
He says he has no doubt about the victory of May 11, but he is still not sure what majority he will have in the next Parliament.
"A majority like the one we have, an even smaller majority than this, so 71, 74, what does it come out of? Or a majority that tells Brussels and the 27 countries "we the Albanian people urgently want to enter the EU and that is why we support this political force. The European Union seeks to increase its ranks and will give a message to the world that "We are expanding and growing in number" and will unify the entire perimeter of Europe on the borders with Russia because otherwise we are threatened.
After introducing the Shkodra political team, Rama explained the "mountain package" to entrepreneurs in this area.
"Whoever has the property and has no problems with the border guards can take it from the municipal council that owns this property. And in fact, to register the property at the moment the property is sold. Anything that may come up afterwards is the state's burden."
According to the government, for the first 500 applicants there will be no tax for 10 years. (A2 Televizion)
