Exiting the Open Balkans is the main objective that the Democratic Party has in its program for the Agriculture sector, with the justification that it has contributed to the bankruptcy of thousands of farmers. The statement came from the leader of the Democrat Party, Sali Berisha, who presented the opposition's electoral offer for farmers, writes A2 CNN.
"Immediate exit from the Open Balkans, which is destroying Albanian agricultural and livestock production, and the implementation of all obligations arising from the Berlin Process and the European integration process. The ID card will be the farmer's NIPT, direct support, subsidy for entrepreneurs in the field of agriculture, where each farmer will be identified with a NIPT. VAT in the agricultural products processing sector will be the same in sales and purchases, so the money will go directly to the farmer and not to the wholesaler", said Berisha.
Further, Berisha showed how the DP will financially support farmers. "Support with grants and soft loans for farmers and agro-processors for the introduction of new technologies in the production and processing of agricultural products, automation, digitalization, purchase of tractors and other equipment. Financial compensation with a floor price for production stock caused by strong market disturbances and incentives for the establishment of the agri-food industry to absorb this stock and avoid the destruction of these products. This is an effective way to avoid the bankruptcy of farmers and the abandonment of rural areas," he added.
According to Berisha, his political opponent, Edi Rama, cannot face the Democrats with an electoral program, so he has chosen to play a clown game with Lulzim Basha, as he puts it, whom, according to the chief democrat, Rama has replaced with Erion Veliaj. (A2 Televizion)
