After the presentation of the program from the Democratic Party headquarters and the roundtables with experts from various fields, Sali Berisha chose this Tuesday to closely explain to businesses the benefits they will have from his 4-year plan.
During a visit to a fashion business in Durrës, the democratic leader promised that "Made in Albania" products will be a priority and to support them, he will compensate them for the money lost from the exchange rate.
"The government will compensate every penny of the euro exchange rate for all exporters, which makes them work in calmer, safer conditions. Having the euro fall by 35 percent, as much as it has, is almost devastating."
According to him, business must be supported to increase production, so he promises tax cuts and other relief measures.
"I am here today to pledge to you, electricity will be paid for at 6 lekë. Albania will have the cheapest energy price in Europe for business. Of course, the lowest tax system is our pledge. The 10 percent tax is the most ancient tax. In the Bible and the Quran, the 10 percent tax is the most just," Berisha emphasized.
According to Berisha, the Democratic Party's program aims to change the lives of citizens, starting with increasing salaries, but he added that these measures will not be implemented, harming business.
"We will set the minimum wage at 500 euros, but in dialogue and cooperation with entrepreneurs, we will do everything so that this does not harm businesses. Because driving businesses towards bankruptcy is foolishness," said the Democrat leader.
Focusing on depopulation, the Democratic leader promised that every family will receive financial support for every child. He also invited all those who have left the country to return to their homeland, promising that if the Democratic Party comes to power, they will have fiscal incentives for any business they open.
