Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has reacted on social networks regarding the terrorist attack in Magdeburg, Germany, where a car drove into a Christmas market at high speed, killing 5 and injuring 200.
The leader of the opposition condemned the terrorist act and stated that the perpetrators should receive the punishment they deserve.

Yesterday, the Christmas market of the city of Magdeburg, Germany was filled with blood. An Arab terrorist, a psychiatrist from Saudi Arabia drove his car over the citizens in the market and killed 5 people and injured over 200 others.
The German prosecutor's office stated that "Referring to the investigations so far, the background of the crime may have been dissatisfaction with the way refugees from Saudi Arabia are being treated in Germany."
The authorities state that the condition of the suspected perpetrator of the incident is being examined.
Expressing my deepest condolences to the families of the victims and the authorities of the country, as well as wishing a speedy recovery to the injured, I strongly condemn this serious terrorist act and wish that the author and his supporters receive the punishment that they deserve", writes Berisha.
