The Chairman of the Movement for National Development, Dashamir Shehi, has expressed that there is increased civic interest in the coalition he is trying to create with Enkelejd Alibeaj (leader of 'Right 1912') and other parties.
Shehi made the comments on the 'Dita Jonë' show on A2 CNN, where he said that the greater the number of votes this new opposition group receives, the greater the possibility of realizing the rotation.
Meanwhile, Shehi said that he has sent numerous signals to other new parties, not to look only at their short-term political interests, but to unite for the good of Albanians.
"Now we are also trying with other groups that are there in Parliament and outside Parliament. There is also curiosity, desire, and hope for this coalition, because in this kind of turbulence that politics has gone through, there are many who are fans of Berisha and will die with him, but there is also a large part of politics that says where are we going, who are we going to vote for.
And I think that the only hope the opposition has to win is to aggregate all these alternative votes, not to leave any votes behind. Let those who are in the Berisha-Meta group get their votes. We will collect our votes.
"The greater the vote that is being gathered here, the greater the hope that power will be alternated. We are trying every day by sending signals to new political parties, whether through TV, etc.," said Shehi. (A2 Televizion)
