"Our nation is dying." With these words, Sali Berisha addressed the national re-establishment assembly, where his vote of confidence as chairman is expected. In a decade of government by the socialists, Berisha raised strong accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama as the cause of the depopulation and loss of hope for the Albanians.
"Let's make a deeper reflection that this end of the year marks one of the blackest decades in the history of Albania, a decade where they lost the free vote, the nation lost hope and 1/3 of its blood. Our accomplishments fell apart. The legal state was replaced by the narco-state. Today our nation is hopeless, it is a nation that is suffering because its body is taken over by the metastases of drugs and crime. It is a nation that sinks into poverty and scarcity, because it is the most plundered nation among the nations of Europe. Private property is no longer looted by communists, but by strategic investors. Albanians continue to be persecuted by government gangs and patronageists. We no longer have people's courts, but we have the party courts, organized criminal groups".
He said that Tirana has returned to the second Belgrade against Kosovo
"We have sold the national interest to Serbia, turning Tirana into a second Belgrade against Kosovo."
In addition to depopulation, he also accused Rama of reducing the number of births in the country and bringing back political imprisonment.
"Worse than in the entire national history, the population has decreased by 35% in 10 years. With the mass desertion of the country and the dominance of deaths over births, for the first time our nation is a dying nation, which did not happen even under communism. All this happens under the image of a demon who has grabbed all the power and wants to keep power by force, and this demon is Edi Rama. We are in the conditions of a new dictatorship in the narco-dictatorship, where the political imprisonment of the opposition returned, just like in the ideological dictatorship". (A2 Televizion)
