EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos will visit Albania for the first time today. The planned agenda of the European Commissioner includes discussions with Albanian authorities on the accession process, the implementation of reform requirements and EU-funded projects.
The Commissioner will arrive at the Prime Minister's Office at 09:30 where she will meet with Prime Minister Edi Rama, Chief Negotiator Majlinda Dhuka, Parliament Speaker Elisa Spiropali, and representatives of the opposition. Afterwards, at approximately 10:40, they will hold a joint press conference.
The Commissioner will also hold meetings with the heads of independent justice institutions as well as those from civil society organizations and students from the College of Europe and the University of Tirana. (A2 Televizion)
