The race between Jorida Tabaku and Ilir Alimehmeti in Tirana is still ongoing, to secure the mandate of MP on the open list of the Democratic Party.
Jorida Tabaku is separated by about 1,000 votes from Ilir Alimehmeti, after overtaking him yesterday during the vote count.
From the data so far, Tabaku has secured 11,855 votes, while Alimehmeti has received the trust of 10,858 citizens, writes A2 CNN.
So, with 518 ballot boxes still to be counted, the difference between the two is 997 votes, writes A2 CNN.
