The Democratic Party in Tirana is fighting for two seats. The DP managed to regain the mandate that was briefly "stolen" by Mundesia, and with the votes counted so far, it will lead 14 deputies to the new Parliament.
In addition to the 12 names from the closed list, the competition for the two places on the open list seems very strong, when 140 out of 1282 VCs in total for the Tirana district have been counted.
Ilir Alimehmeti is currently leading this race within the category with 1,642 votes. The former deputy leader of the DP, Jorida Tabaku, is at risk of remaining outside the new Parliament, and is currently in a close race with Loranca Hoxha.
Tabaku has 1,441 votes, or 44 votes less than Hoxha, who has managed to get 1,490 so far. Myslym Murrizi follows the two Democratic women with 1,052 votes.
Outside the new Parliament with the votes counted so far, the leader of the Freedom Party Ilir Meta, the leader of the PDIU Shpëtim Idrizi, and the current MP, Asllan Dogjani, remain. (A2 Televizion)
