As around 38,806 envelopes containing the diaspora vote have been counted, the Socialist Party has created a significant advantage over its main rival in the race, the Democratic Party.
According to data from the CEC at this moment of counting votes from abroad, the SP has won the support of 55% of Albanian emigrants, the DP 28%, while the Joint Initiative and Opportunity Coalitions are ranked third and fourth respectively with 8.2 and 3% of preferences.
It is worth remembering that a total of about 195 thousand envelopes with ballots were sent from the diaspora. (A2 Televizion)
