The Socialist Party has read in its favor the opinion of the Venice Commission on the mandate of Olta Xhaçka.
The head of the Laws Commission, Klotilda Bushka, a few minutes after the document was published, appeared in front of the media in a statement to show how the socialists interpret the report. According to her, the Constituent Assembly cannot force the Assembly to take Xhaçka's mandate before the court.
Socialists defend her colleague with the argument that it is not compatible with the Constitution. For this reason, according to Bushka, it is not an issue to take to the troop.
The majority sees the critical side of this opinion only for the jury. Venice, according to Bushka, makes it clear that the Constituent Assembly should consider the request of 1/5 of the opposition MPs, without having to throw the ball in the Assembly.
Socialists blame the Constitutional Court for not respecting the constitutional amendments approved by the Parliament.
With this reading, the majority seems to be trying to put a lid on the debate on the mandate of MP Xhaçka. (A2 Televizion)
