On Youth Day, the head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, returned to the Student City to commemorate December 8, where the battle for the fall of the communist regime began. Today, 34 years after the fall of the communist dictatorship, Berisha brought to attention that time, and said that this event is commemorated under a new dictatorship, turning Albania into a crime protectorate. He accused Soros of wanting the PD to become allies of the crime party, as he called the SP, and declaring Berisha non grata.
"Albania today experiences a dictatorship in which all the powers are in the hands of one man, an unruly Albanian, who does not know law and morality, a dictatorship that has turned the elections into a facade of farce and has returned prisons and political arrests to Albania. This dictatorship that started with the transformation of Albania into a crime protectorate has a moment; that Soros with his money attacks the family as the basis of society to deconfigurate the identity of the family, the nations, after giving Rama justice in his pocket with his reform, should now give him the opposition and complete his absolute rule in Albania. At that time they judged that there was only one obstacle, a semi-retired politician and this was Sali Berisha who had resigned 8 years ago, but who remained the same as in the first dictatorship, the advocate of the public interest, the basic values of society and the family, the interest national, so they sanctioned it with the sole purpose of turning our party into an ally of the crime party, SP. It is your merit that you stood up against this coup d'état. You were the first to feel that this was not the problem of a man, but of the fate of the country's freedom and sovereignty, the basic values on which human morality is built, for which the DP stands. But according to the head of the Democratic Party, the empire of evil, as he calls Soros, ended on November 5 in the White House with the victory of Trump, and emphasizes that the opposition today has the greatest international support.
"The great American nation performed the great miracle of freedom on November 5, giving a well-deserved answer to those who sought to change the identity of man. This ideology received the final blow on November 5. In the White House, those values that free people all over the world share with each other are restored. The evil empire of Soros has received a fatal blow".
He called on the youth to stand up to the regime like the students who overthrew the communist dictatorship
"And this dictatorship, just like the communist one, surrenders because it has no future, but it is surrendered only by you, at the moment when you students and young people stand face to face and tooth for tooth with it. In the last month, you have received international support, the most extraordinary in their entire history, Albania has been denounced worldwide as the first narco-state in Europe, all the powers are in the hands of one man, the electoral process has turned into a facade. Let us rise to the height of the ideals of those who overthrew the communist dictatorship to overthrow the worst dictatorship that Albanians have known, of drug crime and their theft".
He called for civil disobedience and expressed confidence in winning the May 11 elections.
"This invasion with your attack will melt like snow before the hot sun and we will go to the elections on May 11, confident of victory.
