Problems have begun in the voting process in the Berat region. In the villages, there are reports of unauthorized persons in the restricted perimeter of the CEAZs, mainly village elders. According to information, in the village of Gjoroven, representatives of the DP have blocked voting until this problem is resolved. Contacted by A2 CNN, candidate Zija Ismaili admitted that there is increased tension.

"In Gjorove, voting has been blocked, there are unauthorized people near the CEAZs who manage to intimidate voters, there is pressure. Meanwhile, the problem is also occurring in several other villages. The political leader will have a communication for the media as soon as they receive full information," said Ismaili.

Meanwhile in Poliçan, DP representative Endrit Zeneli declares that the chairwoman of the CEAZ does not give badges to Democratic commissioners.

"The voting in Poliçan is being held only with socialist commissioners, the mayor is not providing our commissioners with badges. She is not giving any explanation. We have submitted 10 names of commissioners and none are at the voting table," he declared to A2 CNN.

The Berat region has 169,000 eligible voters, who will determine the next 7 deputies to Parliament. (A2 Televizion)
