The political leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Lulzim Basha, accompanied by parliamentary candidates Nevila Nika, Fatos Brahaj and Andi Prifti, continued meetings with residents in the "New Market" area.
During the meetings, Basha unveiled the property program, saying that owners will be compensated if there are vacant properties or, otherwise, they will be given money at market value.
"The principle of our program is this. Property that is free is immediately returned to the owner, the state automatically waives any administrative procedure, any legal process against the owner who has the free property. Partially or totally. Where the land is not free, it is compensated at market value. And this is the main difference with the approach that this government has had. This is resolved with political will, it goes back to the main principle which is: 'Free property is returned to the owner, non-free property is compensated at market value'.
