On the day he began his legal battle for freedom by challenging in the Special Appeal the court decision to assign the security measure "prison arrest", the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, reacted again from his cell, criticizing prosecutor Ols Dado regarding the issue of ownership of the villa in Qerret.
Posting several photos showing that Ajola's father, Arben Xoxa, was in the villa in question, Veliaj states that this happened because his late father-in-law was its real owner.
According to Veliaj, these images, taken no later than 2018, refute the prosecution's claims that Arben Xoxa never went to the villa located on the coast of Qerret.
