For Sali Berisha, statements like that of Prime Minister Edi Rama yesterday in Kavaja, where he exchanged jokes with young people regarding his nude photo that circulated in the media years ago, would lead a candidate to exclusion from the electoral race and punishment by law.
"I would like every Albanian to evaluate this for himself, while in Albanian and international law this is absolutely condemnable. You may indeed get a few clicks of curiosity, but this is strictly prohibited in national and international law. Not only because you had an audience of children there, but you were in front of the cameras. Even if he made this promise in his kitchen, within four walls, alone, in front of the cameras, he is responsible for hundreds of thousands of children, who will remember what this man is capable of doing, to what extent he can degrade and degenerate the campaign for votes. I am saying it here again, in national and international law, those who have committed such acts have been excluded from the electoral race and have been punished by law. Berisha further stated that Rama's denigration of political discourse at this level is frightening, while he asked Albanian parents and teachers to properly evaluate a prime minister who comes out with the motto "naked for votes."
