Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a meeting with Albanians in Athens, stated that "we look with optimism at the average salary of 1,000 euros in the public sector in the fourth mandate."

"When we took office, the banks were immersed in bad loans. It was a red light warning of a great danger, which the Albanians of Greece have experienced firsthand, where the pyramids turned into pits and where a large part of their wealth was buried. Today, bad loans are below 5 percent, just like other countries, and Albania has no risk. When we took office, per capita income was 3,200 euros, today it is over 10,000 euros and in Albania in 2030 it will be 15,000 euros. The average salary was 370 euros, in the public sector, where people are employed to serve others, today with the year 2024, closed with the average salary in the public sector of 1,000 euros, we look with optimism at the fourth mandate," said Rama, writes A2.

"This is news for all of you and those who have begun to see Albania as a place where they can return, but are still hesitant because they are unsure if they will find there at least what they have here, while I say that whoever has the courage to return today will find there the opportunity that tomorrow there will be more than here (Greece). The average salary at that time was 320 euros, today the average total salary between the state and the private sector is 830 euros and in the fourth mandate we will increase it to 1 thousand euros", Rama added.
