In mid-May, together with French President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Rama announced the inauguration of a new technological structure, a school with no age restrictions. He made the announcement at a meeting with young people participating in coding courses.
"Here at the pyramid for a few days, I believe in mid-May when the European Political Community Summit will take place, it is planned that together with the president of France we will open another structure, it is already ready. Up here. It is a very well-known structure in the world of technology, a school completely different from traditional schools. It is called "Ecole 42" where everyone is given the opportunity, regardless of age, regardless of academic background, the school they have completed, to compete to enter that school and with a much more specific and innovative program. Even a 40-year-old, even a 45-year-old, even a 50-year-old to have this chance, even not to be seen as a dinosaur, when approaching the technology system, is fantastic.
On the other hand, we are very aware that in parallel with what we do to promote entrepreneurship in this field, we still have a considerable gap in research and development and we must give more together, to strengthen research and development and to reduce the gap that exists today between the university and the market and to understand that our European future is here.
