Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the tragedy with 50 victims and 118 injured in North Macedonia. In a post on social networks, the head of the Albanian government expressed condolences for this serious event, as well as readiness to help the neighboring country.
"With a special sense of sadness, I convey to the brothers and sisters of North Macedonia my condolences for the great tragedy of Kocani. I am speechless and pray that the injured recover and that the families of the victims find the strength to cope with their inconsolable loss. I also convey to Prime Minister Mickovski and the authorities of the neighboring country my condolences on behalf of Albania and Albanians, expressing our readiness for whatever assistance may be necessary," Rama writes.
The tragedy in North Macedonia occurred at around 3:00 a.m. on March 16, at the Kočani Pulse nightclub where around 1,500 young people were attending a concert by a famous local band. (A2 Televizion)
