The Democratic Party of Fier declares that it will not recognize the results of the 7 ballot boxes currently being counted in CEAZ 60, by only two counters.
A2 CNN journalist Ornela Joti reports that in KZAZ 60, which is the largest in the city of Fier, the counting was stopped at 12:30, when not even 24 out of 97 boxes had been counted.
According to her, the DP counters claimed to be very tired and decided to postpone the process until Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, the SP, during communications with the CEC, stated that it would resume the counting process respecting the electoral code with two counters, one from the SP and one from the PSD, since the premises are monitored by cameras and the counters also have body cameras.
"Meanwhile, the DP withdrew its first decision and said it would return at 6:00 pm and the PS set a condition that we should start at 4:00 pm. At 4:00 pm, the political leader of the district Belinda Balluku, Ceno Klosi and supporters waited for the count to resume. After communicating again with the CEC, it was announced that the count would begin according to the electoral code," reports A2 CNN journalist Ornela Joti.
According to the A2 CNN journalist, the first 7 ballot boxes were counted with only two counters, while during this process, the DP came and said that it would not sign the minutes of these 7 ballot boxes and would not recognize the results. The completion of these 7 ballot boxes is awaited for the DP to insert its counters. (A2 Televizion)
