The Central Election Commission has published the results of the electronic counting in unit number 10 in Tirana.
According to the published results, the Socialist Party received 5,304 votes in this unit, or 49.03% of the votes, while the Democratic Party received 3,498 votes, or 32.34% of the votes.
Meanwhile, the President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, received 246 personal votes in this unit, while running on the open list of the Democratic Party in Tirana. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that Meta is in prison, following corruption charges brought against him by SPAK.
We recall that this unit and the Municipality of Vora were the two areas in which electronic vote counting was implemented.
Despite the fact that the result was supposed to be released a few minutes after the end of voting, the State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, decided to postpone the publication of this result at the request of the opposition.
