"Edi Rama is a man who needs to mend relations with Donald Trump, after calling him "the shame of humanity". He knows that there are some things there in Washington that are expected to cause him big trouble and he needs to find a way out. He is trying to attract media attention, but he is too young to take on this role that he often tries to sell as the man who solves the world's crises", said Zhulali.
"Rama uses every opportunity like today's to make things interesting and create some short personal connections. Unfortunately, he has transformed Albania's foreign policy into his own personal foreign policy. He does not ask any career diplomat about the path to follow. He trades interests that are national. He considered Albania his personal fiefdom," Zhulali added.
According to her, "Albania has become more impoverished and fewer and fewer foreign investors have come" due to Edi Rama's policies.
