Parliament incidents, Bardhi sends letter to diplomatic corps: Actions similar to North Korea

After the closing of this Monday's session, which was again accompanied by tensions, flames and fire, while the majority passed the budget within 5 minutes, Gazment Bardhi has sent a letter to the Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, while it has also been informed the diplomatic corps in Tirana.

Bardhi compares the behavior of the majority to that of North Korean dictator Kim Jong. "By denying the constitutional right to parliamentary control of the Government, not reviewing the draft laws of the opposition deputies, denying the right to receive answers from the executive bodies on matters of interest to the citizens, or denying the right to appoint the representatives of itself in the special parliamentary committees, practically your majority is trying to create a one-party, anti-democratic, authoritarian Parliament that openly violates the rights of the parliamentary minority", writes Bardhi.

Furthermore, he writes in the letter that the Assembly has turned into the hall of the Republic Guard, intimidating the opposition MPs with security forces.

At the end of his letter, Bardhi writes that "the intimidation of opposition MPs by security forces is an action that North Korea and Kim Jong-un himself would envy. Albania, as a member of NATO and a candidate country for the European Union, should align itself with the standards of the EU countries and not with the standards of the dictator of North Korea! In any case, allow me on behalf of the opposition MPs to assure you and your spiritual leader Edi Rama, that you will remain eternally and tentatively only an ugly and miniature copy of Kim Jong".
