Christian believers have commemorated the birth of Jesus Christ across the country. Catholic Christians have celebrated Masses of the Nativity at midnight on December 24.
In the St. Paul Cathedral, hundreds of believers gathered for the mass led by the head of the Metropolitan archdiocese of Tirana-Durrës, Arjan Dodaj.
Messages of peace, love and kindness were the key words of this mass.
Masses were also held in Catholic churches in other cities of the country.
On the morning of December 25, the Orthodox believers gathered in their churches to celebrate the birth of Christ. Even in these masses, God's love for man and his desire for humanity to live in peace and love were among the main messages. (A2 Televizion)
