Even the computer algorithm can make mistakes sometimes. With the last two matches of the joint group in the Champions League remaining to be played, the qualification calculations have changed.
Inter, Milan, Juventus and Atalanta are all in pretty good positions for a ticket in the "playoff" phase. The Zikaltres have practically secured it, the Reds and Blacks almost, while the Whites and Blues still need a victory, even though two draws may be enough.

In other words, Juventus and Atalanta are at risk, because the maximum they can achieve is 17 points.
With Liverpool leading the table with a full 18 points, eighth place is shared by six teams on 13 points. The order determined by goal difference sees Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen, Aston Villa, Inter, Brest and Lille. Exactly these last two, which were the nice surprise of the edition, have influenced the growth of the stack.
The race for direct qualification is completely open. Although football is not an exact science, at the moment it can be said that 16 points would not be enough to avoid the play off phase. However, it depends on the progress of names like Brest, Lille, Levekusen or Aston Villa.
