Albanian Brajan Gruda recently spoke on the podcast of his Premier League club Brighton, where, among other things, he commented on the choice he is expected to make for the national team he will represent.
Although he was part of Germany's preliminary European Championship squad, the 20-year-old has said he is still undecided, writes A2 CNN.
He confesses that many Albanians constantly write to him about representing the red and black national team, even his parents, but so far he has not made a decision.
"My surname is old and well-known in northern Albania. Albanian fans know me and want me to play for Albania. They write to me and my parents about it. I haven't decided yet. Who do I prefer to play for? I don't want to say," Gruda said.
He was transferred in the summer transfer window from the Germans Mainz and is now slowly becoming part of the English team's lineup. (A2 Televizion)
