There is no end to the troubles for Neymar. After the serious injury he suffered with the National Team and the failed attempt to take his partner and daughter hostage, the Brazilian star received another bad news. The Al-Hilal club decided to suspend the striker's contract, given that he will not be able to activate in the following months.
The Saudi club has made the decision with the aim of opening a place in the team for foreign players during the summer market. A necessary reinforcement for the rest of the championship, where the team has to do the calculations without Neymar.
The measure will come into effect from January. Meanwhile, the Brazil captain finds himself out of the team led by coach George Jesus, who made the decision in agreement with the club. The news was reported by Arab media.
Neymar was injured in the anterior ligament of his left knee, while also tearing two menisci. The striker has not only closed the year 2024, but it cannot be said for sure if he will return to the field in the last weeks of the edition.
