Manchester United and Manchester City shared a point in this week's Premier League derby, ending the match with a goalless draw (0-0), for the first time since December 2020.
Pep Guardiola's side faced an aggressive start from United, with Rúben Dias booked for a foul on Alejandro Garnacho. Bruno Fernandes tried a free kick but the ball went over the defensive wall. After that, City found their balance and created a few chances through Phil Foden and Omar Marmoush, but saves from Harry Maguire and Diogo Dalot kept the score level.
In the second half, City showed more desire to break the deadlock. A shot from Kevin De Bruyne and another from Marmoush were saved by goalkeeper André Onana. At the other end, Ederson was forced to intervene after a powerful shot from Joshua Zirkzee, while Mason Mount's next attempt was blocked by Rico Lewis.
In the end, City remain in fifth place, extending their unbeaten run to four games but failing to overtake Chelsea in the standings. Manchester United sit 13th and are preparing for a Europa League quarter-final against Lyon on Thursday. (A2 Televizion)
