The day and time of the Inter-Roma match turned into a soap opera.
It was initially announced that all Serie A matches scheduled for Saturday would be postponed due to the funeral of Pope Francis.
However, Inter requested that their match against Roma not be postponed, given that they play Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals in midweek. The Serie A league accepted this request, only changing the time of this match, from 18:00 to 20:45.
Just when it seemed like everything was decided, the situation changed again, writes A2. According to the official decision, the Inter-Roma match will actually be played on Sunday, at 3:00 PM.
All sporting events in Italy have been canceled on Saturday as Pope Francis' funeral will take place.
