In the 35th minute, with Germany leading 1-0 and dominating the game, Donnarumma saved a dangerous shot from Kleindienst by deflecting the ball into a corner. But, while the PSG goalkeeper and several Italian players protested to referee Marciniak, the Germans wasted no time. Kimmich quickly executed the corner kick and found Musiala completely free, even behind Donnarumma's back.
