Paris Saint-Germain secured their place in the Champions League final after a 2-1 second-leg victory over Arsenal at the Parc des Princes, ending the semi-final with a 3-1 aggregate score. Luis Enrique's side became the third Ligue 1 team to reach more than one final in the competition's history, after Stade de Reims and Olympique de Marseille.
After a narrow victory in the first leg in London, PSG faced a blistering start from Arsenal. Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Ødegaard were dangerous in the opening minutes, but Gianluigi Donnarumma made two spectacular saves to keep the goal intact.
After the initial pressure, the Parisians reacted strongly and the warning came when Kvaratskhelia hit the post. The opening goal came from a brilliant shot by Fabián Ruiz, who scored with his left foot after a rebound from the English defense, scoring his first goal in the Champions League.
In the second half, Bukayo Saka came close to equalising but Donnarumma again made a crucial save. Then, a penalty for PSG after a handball by Lewis-Skelly was saved by David Raya, keeping Arsenal's hopes alive.
However, Hakimi scored PSG's second goal after a mistake by Partey, bringing the French closer to the final. Arsenal responded with a goal from Saka after an assist from Trossard, but the England striker missed a golden chance to equalise.
PSG keeps the dream of their first European trophy alive, while Arsenal record their sixth European elimination after losing their first home game and risk another trophyless season. (A2 Televizion)
