For the first time in the club's history, Inter Milan have won 6 consecutive Serie A transfer matches, defeating Venezia 1-0 at the Pierluigi Penzo Stadium. Matteo Darmian's goal in the 6th minute, after a pass from Kristjan Asllani to Lautaro, who shot, but the goalkeeper reacted and then benefited Darmian.
Inter dominated the match from the start, with a complete control of the game and many scoring opportunities. Lautaro Martínez had a great chance to double the lead but failed to finish, while Asllani had another chance with a shot that was blocked by the Venezia wall.
