Gennaro Gattuso is increasingly being rumored as the new coach of the Italian national team.
Only the last details are missing for everything to be made official. Italian media are sure that a common language has been found and in the meeting with Gravina and Buffon, his staff at the Italian national team was also discussed.
The name that is being touted the most is that of former Juventus player Leonardo Bonucci. Most recently, he is an assistant coach for the Italian under-20 national team, but with the arrival of Gattuso and the latter's desire, Bonucci could be part of the first team of the Blues, while Cesare Prandelli will observe the talents.
According to reports, Gattuso will sign a 1-year contract with an option to stay in case of qualification for the World Cup.
