The Albanian Cup returns to the field to determine the semi-finalists. Partizan and Vllaznia are the first teams involved in the return quarter-finals, against Laç and Elbasan, respectively. With Arbër Abilaliaj back on the bench, the Reds are looking to change the season and start from the goalless draw in Laç.
A difficult test for Vllaznia as well, who face Elbasan, who has become a "black cat". In four matches between the Superiore and the Cup, the Shkodran team has won only once. The first duel ended in a goalless draw, while last Friday the teams also drew 1-1 in the championship.
"It is a big challenge. In direct elimination matches, the winner advances. The objective is to win, also taking advantage of the fact that we play at home. We will not change our style of play, despite the weekend draw with Elbasan. We created chances and scored once, although the missed penalty still kills us. However, Balaj scored and saved us a point. We have to push the players towards achieving the right result, we hope to celebrate together with the fans", says Brdaric.
