Milan celebrated its 125th anniversary on Sunday with a special ceremony before the match against Genoa in Serie A.
The Reds had invited some of the legends of this club, introducing Filippo Inzaghi, Marco Van Basten and Andriy Shevchenko to the "Hall of Fame", while the stands were filled with well-known names of the past such as Ruud Gullit, Rijkaard, Seedorf, Evani, Pirlo , Donadoni etc.
The fans did not spare the applause for them, especially when Inzaghi and Van Basten came down to the field, bringing back once again the choruses for the attackers who made the "San Siro" roar during the matches when they were protagonists.
But, at the same time, the fans had heavy criticism for the club, writes A2
"We honor our champions, symbols of a Milan that no longer exists", was the controversial slogan that was launched by the red and black ultras in the stands at that moment.
And to show how opposed they are to the way the club is being run, the moment the stadium's big screen focused on Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the stands, boos erupted from the entire San Siro.
