Yasir Asani has made a surprising decision about his future, transferring to the Iranian championship. The famous Iranian club, Esteghlal, has reached an agreement with the Korean club Guangju to secure the services of the Albanian striker.
Asani has signed a contract with Esteghlal, which will be valid until the end of the 2026-2027 season. However, the player is still under contract with Gwangju until January, which means that his debut with the Iranian club will take place after the agreement with the Korean team is completed.
"Following negotiations with Yasir Asan, the Albanian attacking winger, the player has signed a one-and-a-half-season contract with Esteghlal and will join the team once his contract with Gwangju ends. He is under contract with the Korean club until January, but our management is working to enable an early transfer," the Iranian club announced.
