The Albanian Football Federation has made an official reaction regarding the serious incident that occurred during the Egnatia-Partizani match, where the footballer Raphael Dwamena fell unconscious on the playing field and then died.
According to the AFL, during this event all the necessary rules were respected and all medical protocols were also followed.
"In the match played at the Rrogozhina stadium, the rules of the competition were strictly respected. An ambulance equipped with a defibrillator and all the necessary medical equipment, as well as two doctors, was on standby. The footballer was immediately given first aid on the field and was urgently sent to the hospital, where all medical protocols were followed", the reaction reads.
The AFF reaction comes after several accusations leveled against it in the media for the death of Dwamenas, who previously had heart problems and was not allowed to play in various European championships. (A2 Televizion)
