It will be Cristian Chivu, the new coach of Inter. After "washing his hands" with Simone Inzaghi after the defeat in the Champions League final, President Marotta has entrusted the bench to an old acquaintance of the black and blues.
The Romanian coach, who once wore the Inter jersey as a player, triumphing in the Champions League, will be the new helmsman of the team, signing a two-year contract.
Inter announced the agreement with Chivu through a post on social media, while this morning the former defender resolved the last bureaucratic details and was released from Parma.
" FC Internazionale Milano welcomes Cristian Chivu as the new coach of the first team. The coach has signed a contract with the Blues until June 30, 2027 ," the club announced from Milan.
Chivu is expected to lead the first training session at Appiano Gentile this afternoon as Inter prepare for the Club World Cup. Due to commitments with the national teams, the Romanian has only a few players available for this first session.
