The Municipality of Pogradec has organized a gala evening for the 10 best sportsmen of 2024. In an evening dedicated to sports, all the sportsmen who have left a mark in this city returned to the memory of the people of Pogradec.
From those who are active to former athletes and well-known coaches, giving the emotions of those present in the hall.
Meanwhile, well-known athletes who play in international leagues but also with the Albanian national team, such as Endri Çekiçi, Erjon Hoxallari, Ernest Muçi, but also Isi Manellari, Marin Abazaj and Vangjel Zguro, were appreciated in an evening like this.
Two former sportsmen Festim Fetollari and Spartak Elmazi, who have left their lives prematurely, were given the titles Pride of the City.
The member of the executive committee of the AFL, Ylli Çekiçi, has informed that this institution will invest in the sports infrastructure of the club and the future looks promising.
Such an activity is organized for the first time in Pogradec, as a form of evaluation for athletes of all disciplines in volleyball, swimming, football, basketball and martial arts. (A2 Televizion)
