Francesco Banjaja is confirmed as the "King" of MotoGP. The Italian Ducati driver won the championship title for the second time in a row, after crossing the finish line first in the Valencia race, leaving behind Fabio Di Xanantonio and Johan Zarko.
In the final race of the World Cup, Banjaja was 14 points ahead of Martin, but the Spaniard crashed in the first laps of the race, declaring the Italian champion while the race was still on.
After the race, Banjaja said: "I always dreamed of winning the race and the championship title on the same day and today it happened. "I didn't realize that Martin was out of the race because I was worried about the tires, but everything went well in the end."
This is the second title for Banjaja in MotoGP, while in 2018 the Italian won the championship title in Moto2. (A2 Televizion)
