Rama kneels and places the "scarf" on Meloni's head in Abu Dhabi

Prime Minister Edi Rama gifted his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni a scarf for her birthday, while the two are in Abu Dhabi, where they signed the Albania - United Arab Emirates - Italy agreement for investment in the underwater connection of the energy distribution network in the Adriatic Sea, as well as for investments in increasing production from renewable sources in our country.

In a video published by Rainews, Rama is seen kneeling and giving the 48-year-old Meloni a gift. "You shouldn't do this anymore," Rama is quoted as saying to Meloni, after the Albanian prime minister was previously seen kneeling in front of his Italian friend. The two then hugged.

According to Rainews, Rama explained to Meloni that the scarf he gave her as a gift was made by an Italian artisan, transferred to Albania, as many of her compatriots have done in recent years.

Finally, Rama placed the scarf on the head of the Italian Prime Minister, who thanked him for the gift. (A2 Televizion)
