Security cameras in an Istanbul neighborhood have captured an extremely rare incident, as a stray dog is seen taking her dying puppy to a veterinary clinic.
According to Anadolu, the veterinarian who owns the clinic rushed to provide first aid to the little puppy. The puppy was admitted to the hospital with a weak heartbeat, while its mother stayed by its side throughout the treatment.
Before the incident, animal lovers had taken another puppy of the same dog to the veterinary hospital, where it was also treated. Now, the puppies are being treated together, with their mother by their side.
Veterinarian Baturalp Ogan said the dog had recently given birth, but most of her puppies did not survive. The puppy that was taken to the vet was the last one left.
"The mother brought the puppy to the clinic, leaving it in front of the door. Our doctor saw him and immediately proceeded with resuscitation. Now his condition is improving. Fortunately, he is better and has been reunited with his mother and little brother," said Ogan.
Because the mother's milk was insufficient, the clinic staff fed the puppies special food. (A2 Televizion)
