A system of six planets has been discovered whose orbits are so regular and in harmony as to suggest a waltz-like dance. Described in the journal Nature, the planets are 100 light-years away from Earth, in the constellation Coma Berenices.
Their star, HD 110067, is the brightest so far and has a system of more than four exoplanets.
"The discovery is a goldmine of data on the formation of planetary systems," said study coordinator Rafael Luque of the University of Chicago. (A2 Televizion)
