They allow you to stop wherever you want and pursue your interests, whether in cities, nature or beaches. From Europe to America to Asia, here are 6 dream itineraries to do at least once in your lifetime.

1. Portugal – From North to South
Depart from Porto and travel through the vineyard valleys, such as the Douro. An ancient wine region, for a river cruise and a night of relaxation, tastings and nature in an old winery, which has now been transformed into a luxury country house.

Start in Strasbourg, discover the cathedral, the Petite France district and enjoy traditional cuisine, then continue with the half-timbered houses of Colmar (which is also lovely during the Christmas market period), and finally travel along the Alsatian vineyard route, stopping among windmills and landscapes that are just waiting to be photographed, reports A2 CNN.
Then cross the border into Germany, towards Freiburg and its entertainment. 4. Netherlands
It is the ideal place for a road trip, but by train it is convenient for those who do not drive or for those who prefer to avoid renting a car.
You can depart from any city that suits you best in terms of flights, but the ideal would be to start your tour right from Amsterdam and dedicate at least three days to walking along its canals, discovering museums, green areas, and flower markets, writes A2 CNN.
Then head to Utrecht, which is 30 minutes away, a lively university city that will give you the feel of the capital, but on a smaller scale. Stops in Gouda (where the famous cheese was born), The Hague, then Delft and modern Rotterdam, with the Erasmus Bridge and street food. Then head to the windmills of Kinderdijk.
