If you have three months of free time and over £112,000 in your account, an epic journey around the world by train could be the adventure you're looking for.
British company Adventures By Train has launched its first international tour, a 100-day flightless journey that combines luxury train travel and sea cruises. The first departure will be on March 17, 2026 from London's St Pancras station, and will include 14 countries including France, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, Japan, Canada and the US.
Only 12 people will be able to take part in this exclusive first trip. The standard price for a single ticket is £112,900, but couples get a significant discount – £89,950 per person.
During this flightless journey, travelers will explore dozens of UNESCO-protected sites, enjoy dinners at Michelin-starred restaurants and participate in unique cultural experiences, such as tea ceremonies in Tokyo or wine tastings in Georgia, writes A2 CNN.
The itinerary also includes several cruises: a 23-day one from Tokyo to Vancouver, another transatlantic one from New York to Southampton aboard the "Queen Mary 2", as well as shorter segments in the Caspian Sea and Asia.
Accommodation will be high-end in historic, five-star hotels, such as the Pera Palace in Istanbul or the Shangri-La in Vancouver. (A2 Televizion)
