A woman, identified as "Jane Doe," has filed a civil lawsuit accusing popular artists Sean "Diddy" Combs and Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter of sexual assault, writes A2 CNN. The incident is alleged to have happened in 2000, during a party after the Video Music Awards, when the plaintiff was only 13 years old.
At first, the lawsuit was directed only against Combs, but Carter, who was previously referred to as "Celebrity A" was also included as a defendant. According to the amended suit, Jane Doe claims that after consuming a drink at the party, she felt dizzy and retreated to a bedroom, where she claims she was sexually assaulted by Jay-Z and then by Combs.
Carter has categorically denied the accusations, calling them "baseless and despicable". In a statement, he called on the plaintiff to file a criminal complaint if the allegations are true. He also described the prosecution's request for mediation as an attempt at blackmail.
While Diddy Combs faces multiple charges, including sex trafficking. Jane Doe's attorney, Tony Buzbee, stated that his client never asked for money. He called Carter's reaction an attempt at intimidation and promised that the matter would be dealt with decisively in court. (A2 Televizion)
