A US court in Washington could bring serious trouble to social media giant META.
The United States Department of Consumer Protection and Competition alleges that Mark Zuckerberg's company purchased Instagram in 2012 and WhatsApp in 2014 to eliminate rivals, a move that guaranteed it monopoly privilege.
US authorities reviewed and approved these purchases, but pledged to monitor the consequences.
If META loses this lawsuit, Mark Zuckerberg would be forced to sell both platforms, Instagram and WhatsApp. (A2 Televizion)
