The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, is visiting Kosovo this Monday, as part of a 3-day tour of the Balkans. Jens Stoltenberg's visit comes at a time of renewed tensions in the Balkans, especially those between Kosovo and Serbia after the incident in Banjska and Kurt's statement that Serbia is preparing another attack on Kosovo.

According to the announcement published by NATO, Stoltenberg will meet with the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti. He will also visit the KFOR Camp "Nothing Hill", where he will meet with the KFOR Commander and address the troops.

The first meeting on the agenda is the one with the local and international political and military leaders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and then it follows with the leaders in Kosovo.

On Tuesday, November 21, the Secretary General will be in Belgrade. He will have meetings with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic and the Prime Minister, Ana Bernabic. On the same day, Stoltenberg will travel to the Republic of North Macedonia to meet with President Stevo Pendarovski and Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski.

The whole tour will end with a joint meeting and conference between the Secretary General of NATO and the leaders of the Western Balkans in Skopje on Wednesday, November 22. Prime Minister Edi Rama is also expected to be present.

In addition to the leaders of the region, the Croatian president and the Slovenian prime minister will also be at the discussion table.
