The Serbian president will proudly participate in the Victory Day celebrations in Moscow. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin. Asked if Serbia is facing pressure since the Serbian president will be in Moscow on May 9, when the victory over Nazi Germany is commemorated, Vulin said that the West has been pressuring Serbia to impose sanctions on Moscow for 3 years, but they have not done so, writes A2 CNN.
"Of course, they say that President Putin is someone you shouldn't meet, but personally I have met Putin twice in my life and I am very proud of that. I consider this the pinnacle of my career. It is a great honor to be with President Putin, especially on Victory Day ," Vulin said, A2 CNN reports.
Vulin also spoke about the participation of members of the Serbian armed forces in the Moscow parade.
"Our soldiers will participate in the parade by order of President Aleksandar Vučić. Their participation in the military parade is completely normal, considering that we fought together in World War II and emerged victorious," Vulin concludes. (A2 Televizion)
