Of the tents that the European Front has erected in front of the Constitutional Court in Skopje, with the argument of protecting the Albanian language, the head of the DUI, Ali Ahmeti spoke to the media saying that this body of justice should reject the debate on the 13 articles and the attempts to truncated the Albanian language, or else there will be no peace in North Macedonia.
Ahmeti was harsh with the language he used, when he said that he does not dare to touch the heart of Albanians, as this is not in the best interest of anyone.
"Respect the Ohrid Agreement and do not interfere or touch the heart of the Albanians because it is not good for you or for us. This state is shared. In these not so good moments for us, we are being threatened by something sacred, acquired with blood over the centuries, our language. I would like to address Hristijan Mickoski from this square: 'We want peace, we want democracy, we want freedom, we want it for everyone, we want our country to be more and more in progress and as close as possible to the EU, and not to act in institutions to damage a language which is official and emerged from a dialogue process' . We have never contested the language of our fellow citizens or the history of our fellow citizens. Therefore, don't touch the Albanians because even patience has an end", said Ahmeti.
According to him, the protest that they have undertaken to realize has nothing to do with Mickoski's assertions that the DUI wants to create fog because of the crimes committed when he was in power.
Ahmeti also expressed strong criticism of the leaders of the ruling Albanian coalition, VLEN, saying that they change their positions frequently.
" As for these of ours who change their attitudes day by day within a month. Initially, the Albanian language was not official, but now it has become official for us, and those who speak it have become braver. I know how brave they are. They have so much courage that a cat knocks over the dishes in the kitchen. That's their price ," said the head of DUI. (A2 Televizion)
